What happened

According to ICT, Lhamo Tseten, a Tibetan nomad in his mid-twenties, married with a young daughter, carried out a self-immolation protest in front of the local military base and township administration in Amchok on 26 October 2012. He was the fourth Tibetan from Sangchu county to self-immolate in a week.
