What happened

According to ICT, Tsewang Kyab set fire to himself near the bus stand in Setri village in Sangkok township, Sangchu (Ch: Xiahe) County, on 26 October 2012, the second self-immolation protest in Sangchu that day. ICT reported that he died, and that local Tibetans covered him with white khatag scarves and carried him home despite an attempt by officials to intervene.
