What happened

According to ICT, citing Tibetan sources, Jamyang Losel, a young monk, set fire to himself near the county hospital in Chentsa (Ch: Jianzha); ICT counted his as the 150th self-immolation protest inside Tibet and China since 2009. He was taken to hospital in Siling (Ch: Xining) and died there.

Aftermath

His body was not returned to his family, according to reports on social media cited by ICT.
