What happened

Sources in the region told Radio Free Asia, as cited by ICT, that Chagdor Kyab, a 16-year-old student, set fire to himself near Bora Monastery on 2 May 2017 and called out for freedom for Tibet and for the Dalai Lama's return. It is not known whether he survived.
