V-TAG Sweden was founded in June 2025 by eight dedicated members committed to supporting and advancing the mission and vision of V-TAG: "Our vision is to see a world where the Tibetan people's rights and freedoms are respected and protected."
Although the Tibetan youth community in Sweden is relatively small, a large proportion of those who are of age actively participate in V-TAG Sweden. This network serves as a platform for young Tibetans to:
• Learn about Tibet, human rights, and political issues affecting Tibetans.
• Advocate for human rights, freedom, and justice.
• Lead initiatives by developing and implementing their own projects and campaigns related to Tibet.
To ensure effective coordination and impact, the team is organized into several key roles and areas of responsibility. Among the most central in a small team, as ours, are:
• National Coordinator: Manages and leads the network’s activities, projects, and strategic direction.
• Social Media Coordinators: Manage communications, outreach, and public engagement across digital platforms.
Through education, advocacy, and youth leadership, V-TAG Sweden aims to empower the next generation of Tibetans and allies to become informed, engaged, and effective advocates for human rights and the Tibetan cause.
