V-TAG Belgium: Empowering Voices, Inspiring Action
With around 20 active members, V-TAG Belgium is a growing network of young advocates committed to defending Tibetan rights, raising awareness, and strengthening youth participation in the Tibetan movement.
At the heart of our approach is the belief that effective advocacy begins with confidence and accessibility. We aim to create an environment where young Tibetans feel encouraged to express themselves, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop the skills to become informed and active advocates.
A central focus of our current mandate is challenging China's Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law and highlighting its implications for Tibetan language, culture, and identity. Alongside this, we seek to modernize our outreach through social media, making Tibet-related issues more accessible, engaging, and relevant to younger audiences.
By combining advocacy, creative communication, and international collaboration, V-TAG Belgium strives to bridge the gap between awareness and action, fostering a generation of young advocates ready to make their voices heard.
