What happened

According to ICT, 17-year-old student Wangchen Kyi set fire to herself at around 8 pm on 9 December 2012 in the Dokarmo nomadic area of Tsekhog (Ch: Zeku) County and died. Exile Tibetans in contact with the area told ICT that she called for the long life of the Dalai Lama and of the Tibetan people.
