What happened

According to TCHRD, cited by ICT, Tsegyal set fire to himself in Tingser village, Bekar township, Driru (Ch: Biru) County on 7 November 2012 and was taken into police custody. TCHRD reported that he was held at a police station in Nagchu town without medical treatment for eleven days and died in custody on the evening of 18 November 2012.

Aftermath
