What happened

According to ICT, 17-year-old Rinchen set fire to himself at about 9:30 p.m. on 19 February 2013 together with 18-year-old Sonam Dhargye, in protest against the Chinese government, in the Dzoege area of Ngaba, and died. He had been working away from home and had come back for the Tibetan New Year holiday.
