ICT reported that Lhamo Kyab, a Tibetan forest guard in his early forties, died by fire on 25 March 2013 in a rural area of Meshul township, Sangchu. ICT noted that the circumstances of his death remain unclear, but included it on its list of self-immolations on the basis of unofficial information from the area.
