On 17–18 October, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) committee was held at Mahindra United World College, following the appeal initiated by V-TAG Pune to bring attention to the challenges faced by Tibetan refugees and displaced populations.

Through its dedicated efforts and advocacy, V-TAG Pune worked to ensure that the concerns of Tibetan refugees and displaced communities received meaningful attention and a platform for discussion. This initiative reflects V-TAG Pune’s continued commitment to raising awareness, encouraging dialogue, and bringing important humanitarian issues into spaces where they can be discussed and understood.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the delegates, chairs, and organisers who contributed to the committee and engaged with this important issue. We are proud of V-TAG Pune’s initiative in bringing this appeal forward and creating an opportunity for greater awareness of the challenges faced by displaced communities.
