The National Coordinator of V-TAG India, Tenzin Woesel Takrang, General Secretary Tenzin Palmo, and Media & Digital Coordinator Tenzin Chimay Phunrab had the profound honour of seeking an audience with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The occasion marked a meaningful milestone in V-TAG’s global initiative to honour His Holiness and convey the collective gratitude and affection of people from across the world.
During the audience, the National Coordinator presented 13 volumes containing approximately 1,500 letters, messages, and heartfelt tributes collected internationally as part of the Global Tribute Campaign for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on His 90th Birthday, an initiative of the Global Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group undertaken in 2025.
The campaign brought together individuals from diverse countries and backgrounds, each contributing personal messages of gratitude, respect, admiration, and birthday wishes for His Holiness. Together, these contributions formed a collective expression of the profound impact His Holiness has had on people around the world through his teachings on compassion, peace, and universal responsibility.
Presenting the completed volumes to His Holiness was a deeply meaningful moment for the V-TAG delegation, symbolising the culmination of a global initiative and the coming together of approximately 1,500 individual voices in one tribute. It also reflected the dedication of V-TAG’s international network in creating opportunities for people worldwide to express their appreciation for His Holiness.
