On 6 July 2026, V-TAG India National Coordinator Tenzin Woesel Takrang met with a delegation from Taiwan for a meaningful exchange on the Tibet issue and the current situation inside Tibet. The meeting provided an opportunity to highlight key concerns surrounding Tibet, raise awareness of the challenges faced by Tibetans, and discuss the importance of sustained international engagement.
During the interaction, Tenzin Woesel introduced the mission, objectives, and ongoing work of the Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG), emphasizing its commitment to strengthening grassroots advocacy, expanding public awareness, and encouraging constructive dialogue on Tibet.
The discussion also underscored the vital role of Tibetan youth in carrying the Tibetan cause forward. As a new generation takes on greater responsibility, V-TAG India remains committed to empowering young advocates, building meaningful international connections, and ensuring that Tibet’s history, identity, and aspirations continue to be heard by future generations.
