Today, we had the pleasure of hosting professors from Old Dominion University in Dharamshala, who visited through a programme facilitated by the University of Virginia and Loving Tara, focusing on entrepreneurship and Tibet.
The gathering provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on Tibet’s rich history, cultural heritage, and contemporary issues. Through an open exchange of perspectives and ideas, participants explored the importance of cultural understanding, education, and dialogue in building stronger connections between academic communities and Tibetan society.
The discussions also took place alongside Stories of Tibet and Himalayan Threads, whose work contributes to sharing Tibetan stories, heritage, and cultural experiences with wider audiences.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the visiting professors, the University of Virginia, Loving Tara, Stories of Tibet, and Himalayan Threads for contributing to this inspiring exchange. Such engagements create valuable opportunities to deepen understanding, encourage collaboration, and strengthen connections between Tibet and the international academic community.
