V-TAG Dehradun conducted an advocacy session at STS Herbertpur under the theme “Tibet, India & Civic Responsibility,” creating an opportunity for students and staff to explore Tibet-related issues, the historical and cultural connections between Tibet and India, and the importance of responsible civic participation.

The session was attended by Tenzin Woesel Takrang la, National Coordinator of V-TAG India; Tsering Dolkar la, Dehradun Coordinator; and Tenzin Palkey, Regional Secretary. The session encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of awareness, dialogue, and active citizenship. The curiosity and participation of students and staff contributed to an engaging learning environment, allowing ideas to be exchanged and questions to be explored.

V-TAG Dehradun extends its sincere gratitude to STS Herbertpur for welcoming the team and facilitating the session. The engagement reflects V-TAG’s continued commitment to educational outreach, youth participation, and constructive dialogue on Tibet and its connections with India.

Through initiatives like these, V-TAG seeks to encourage young people to learn, engage thoughtfully with important issues, and embrace their responsibilities as informed and active citizens.
