What happened

According to ICT, citing exiled Tibetan sources, Tsultrim and Tennyi, both about 20, set fire to themselves together in the courtyard of a hotel in the centre of Ngaba town on 6 January 2012 and ran into the street calling for the return of the Dalai Lama to Tibet and for his long life. Tsultrim died the following day, 7 January.
