What happened

According to ICT, Lhamo Kyab, a father of two in his late twenties, set fire to himself near Bora Monastery on 20 October 2012 and died. Tibetans in exile said he called for the Dalai Lama to return to Tibet, and that Chinese security forces and a local man tried in vain to put out the flames.
